THE INNOVATION AS SOURCE OF COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE IN THE ORGANIZATIONS: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE
The comprehensiveness studies show innovation as one of the main driving forces in the economic development and business competitiveness, it has grown significantly in both academic, and organizational field. Therefore, the present study sought to highlight the main concepts of innovation as a source of competitive advantage, in order to do this, it was carried out a systematic review of the literature on the EBSCO data basis. The results highlight that innovation should be one of the organizations’s strategies to generate competitive advantage, enabling their differentiation or approximation to their competitors, assisting in their sustainability over time.
