DISCUSSION ON SCIENTIFIC & TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT: TOWARDS TO PARADIGMS CHANGING
Nowadays Brazilian scientists spend so much time focusing in academic production and publication
of the production, but issues relating to intellectual property remains in the background. Not
appropriating scientific knowledge produced, Brazil opens the possibility of appropriating the
world's published knowledge in international vehicles turning them into productive processes
foreign owners. The great challenge of this article is to provide a set of relevant information and
discussions that highlight the importance of the official formalization of intellectual property in
software in Brazil.
