ANALYSIS OF BRAZILIAN SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION ON SUPPLIER SELECTION SUPPORTED IN MULTICRITERIA METHODS
In a competitive market scenario, the procurement area contributes significantly to the achievement of organizational objectives. Its mission is to identify the needs of competitive products and services, making it responsible for the delivery time, the optimization of costs and quality. In this context, the selection of suppliers is central to the procurement function. This study aims to analyze the Brazilian scientific literature on selection of suppliers through multi-criteria methods of decision support. The research is exploratory in nature, in which we applied the bibliometric method to analyze articles published between 2006 and 2015 available in Scielo and Google Scholar databases. The main results identified the trend in the publications on the subject, the predominance of the case study as a research strategy, as well as the institutions that have more participation in the publication of articles on the subject.
