USE OF REPRODUCTION OF GOATS IN ENALAPRIL: AN EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGY
Abstract
The goat has an important socio-economic role in the Northeast, though still with low production rates. One way to improve these indices is the improvement of reproductive biotechnologies today costly and inefficient. Even one of the consolidated embryo transfer faces such difficulties by producing low levels of viable embryos in each superovulation. The knowledge of certain factors produced during and regulate the process of development and follicular maturation may be a promising alternative. Among these factors, the components of the renin-angiotensin system has been the subject of research by researchers worldwide, with significant results in the use of Enalapril improves the quantity and quality of embryos produced by superovulation in goats by means of a dose based in human use and a treatment period of 11 days. Therefore objective was to conduct a survey to identify the main research and enalapril patents for use in biotechnical reproduction in goats, targeting development of a commercial product.
