TRAINING AND EMPLOYABILITY: THE CASE OF TRAINING SCHOOL GRADUATES PROFESSIONAL CABNAVE IN SAINT VINCENT – CABO VERDE
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the employability from an international case in which a school of vocational training within a company - Cabnave - has been developing a training model that, besides being directly related to the activity of the company is associated with several sectors of economic activity in Cape Verde, with emphasis on the engineering industry and Metalworking. This is an exploratory and descriptive, in the form of a case study with a quantitative approach, involving the collection of primary and secondary data. Data were collected through the questionnaire to a final sample of 80 respondents, and treated by the methods of descriptive statistics and correlational. As results, include: (i) the majority of graduates expressed the view that the degree of employability courses completed is high, (ii) there is on the part of graduates a high degree of confidence in the courses, regardless of their work currently, (iii) the graduates evaluate very positively the training courses conducted by the School's Training Cabnave (iv) the graduates consider there is a successful entry into the labor market after the completion of the courses.
