shareholders, employees, the environment and the local community. Therefore, this study aimed to
investigate the generation of sustainable value, caused by the adoption of environmental
management and social responsibility in an automotive company. The methodology used was
treated in a qualitative, descriptive research under the scope of a case study. The results emphasize
that the adoption of environmental practices and social actions enabled the generation of
sustainable value for the company. In this sense, the organization is sustainable and economically
competitive as it exports its products to several continents, is also socially responsible and environmentally friendly because it develops social actions for employees and the community, as
well as properly treat all waste generated, resulting in a smaller environmental impact.
