This research aimed to analyze the registration process of any kind of technology transfer agreements between University-Industry, conducted by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), after Brazilian Innovation Act N. 10,973 (12/02/2004). This study points out new perspectives for increasing endorsed contracts through bibliographical and documentary analysis methodology. Results show that the specific law allowed innovation advances for the effectiveness of technology transfer contracts although technology supplement should rely solely on the process of technological diffusion and on the adoption of technology by society through continuous learning, enabling an increase in the performance of services, processes and products produced in the market.
