THE IMPLANTATION OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN A TRICYCLE ASSEMBLER OF FARROUPILHA CITY AS A WAY TO EXTEND ITS COMPETITIVENESS
Abstract
Project management is a strategic element that influences the time and cost of the administration,
in meeting customer needs and thus contributes to the competitiveness of the organization. As a
result, may generate it less and better knowledge on costs and considerable gains in earnings.
Therefore, the study was performed about/in a small company and it belongs to an assembly of
tricycles, which is localized in Farroupilha/RS and pointed the implementation of the use of project
management, focusing mainly on the agility to deliver their products. As a qualitative and
exploratory action research methodology, the study was implemented through the development of a
case study, by conducting individual interviews, with a semi-structured approach. Through this
study there were significant changes in the organization, such as: reduction of stock, full stock,
greater flexibility in assembly. This enabled the company to achieve a new form of production
management.
