TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH ON THE BOVINE BRUCELLOSIS (Brucella Abortus)
Abstract
Bovine brucellosis (Brucella abortus) is an infectious and contagious disease, disease caused by gram-negative bacteria that is committed to public and animal health, being considered zoonotic character. Symptoms in animals are: abortion in the second half of pregnancy and occasionally orchitis and epididymitis in males. The presumptive diagnosis is based on clinical signs, but the final will always be bacteriological or serological. Immunization of all the flock, disinfecting the environment and tools are effective methods to combat and control of the spread of micro-organisms, it is recommended that quarantine and the sacrifice of animals positive reagents. The aim of this research is to carry out a technological survey in the databases of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and the European Patent Office (EPO), the shares of the countries patents, especially the Russian Federation with the highest number of patent deposit. International classifications were more abundant in this prospecting A61K and C12N. We also observed a greater number of patents filed in 1997 and 2008.
