TECHNOLOGICAL MONITORING OF PRODUCED WATER TREATMENT TECHNIQUES
Abstract
In the petroleum industry, the generation of waste is inevitable, noting the amount of wastewater
generated in all stages of production: extraction, transportation and refining. In the extraction a considerable amount of water is injected into wells to increase pressure, and in some cases there is
already a large amount of water mixed with the oil itself. The proportion water / oil increases with
age reaching the well in some cases that over 90% of water. Disposal of this waste water is harmful
to the environment, so essential to a previous treatment. For the achievement of the search for
patent, we was used the base of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the
database of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and European Patent Office
(Espacenet). Assessing the world setting and Brazil, with respect to documents of patent
applications, we can characterize the forecasting on the briquettes to be in Constant development.
