TECHNOLOGICAL FORECASTING OF SOFTWARES FOR PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY
Abstract
Petroleum is a mixture of organic chemical compounds (hydrocarbons), normally divided into fractions according to boiling range of compounds. Nowadays, with the advent of petrochemicals, as well as widespread use of derivatives, many of novel compounds are produced. The use of software in the petroleum industry can make a strategic planning of the life of an oil field; Simulation of oil and gas production, predict results, test some scenarios, choose the best options to optimize productivity. This paper has as main objective to accomplish a technological prospecting of software applied to petroleum industry and the participation of countries in the development of these programs in deposits of patent in bank of innovation and technology. In the survey found some documents involving the terms “programa ou software e petróleo” and “program or software and petroleum”, with 24 documents in LATIPAT, 4 in WIPO, more than 11 in the EPO and 4 at the INPI in with Brazil participates expressively as depositary of such patent, which shows the importance of the petrochemical industry for this country
