SISTEMA CONSTRUTOR DE CIRCUITOS E SUA APLICAÇÃO NA ROTEIRIZAÇÃO DE COLETA DE LIXO DOMICILIAR
Abstract
The vehicle routing is a critical stage in many transportation and logistics services. In this paper we report the development of a computing system called Circuit Constructor System (SCC) which is used for determining a circuit for minimum cost covering of a given subset of arcs, nodes and edges of a mixed graph (as an urban street network), subject to restrictions on node conversions (restrictions that inhibit undesirable or prohibited conversions on intersections). Computational tests confirm the efficiency of the SCC on obtaining near optimal solutions for fairly large problems. The application of SCC in solid waste collection routing is illustrated and discussed.
