Prospective Study on the Biosensors Construction to Base Acetylcholinesterase for the Detection of Pesticides Organophosphorus
Abstract
Organophosphorus pesticides (HAL levels) are very toxic compounds, extensively used in agriculture.
The presence of HAL levels of waste on the environment has been considered high hazard to human health, since these substances inhibit irreversibly local catalytic active enzyme acetylcholinesterase
(AChE), which is essential to living things, as this allows the transmission of electrical signals in the
central nervous system. Enzymatic biosensors have been developing over the last decades, mainly as a
technical proposal and economically viable for rapid detection of pesticides HAL levels, not only in
environmental samples as food. This study aims to survey the research already completed on the
construction and use of such biosensors, and gave rise not only to theses, dissertations and articles, but also resulted in technologies protected by patents. For such bases were consulted articles and patents, national and international, as well as the libraries of major universities. The results provide important information for the construction of biosensors more sensitive and low cost.
