MOBILE MARKETING: A NEW APPROACH FROM MARKETEERS AND NOWDAYS TRAVELLERS
Abstract
The Mobile Marketing is one of the areas of digital marketing that presents more potential for
businesses in general and, in particular, to the tourism area. It allows the creation of a direct
channel to the client, which is more versatile since it turns easy the acquisition of unique products
thanks to the possibility of personalization, mobility and connectivity anywhere and anytime. The
present study is a Review of existing literature and aims to raise awareness of the importance of digital marketing for companies, especially those related to tourism, which presents the
characteristics and identifies the potential of associated features, as well as the evolution of mobile
devices and the impact that mobile technologies can have on businesses and society. In this article,
it was concluded that technology is increasingly present in society and provides a competitive
advantage to companies in terms of versatility, customization and distribution of its products
through a direct channel in real time with the customer, through the mobile devices that are
increasingly considered a necessary adjunct to consumers.
