MANAGEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE IN WILDLIFE IN THE SOUTH OF SANTA CATARINA: MATURITY ASSESSMENT FROM THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATION
Abstract
In the current scenario, knowledge and information are considered the main differentiation factors
to create or maintain competitive advantage in organizations and enable the development of a
region. The objective of this study was to investigate the level of maturity of knowledge management
in winemaking in the region bounded by the Goethe Grape Valley Geographical Indication. The
research is characterized as descriptive exploratory, with a qualitative approach, through a bibliographical research and case study. The results showed that the winegrowers continue to
follow the method of work of their founders, knowledge sharing is restricted and the existing
innovation is due to the implementation of the Vales da Uva Goethe norms.
