Ludic and Innovative Activity for Teaching the Main Fleas and Diseases Transmitted by them of Medical Importance
Abstract
Constant demographic, social and environmental changes have been favoring the emergence of
new diseases and the reemergence of others. Learning about them is essential for healthcare
students. The aim of this research was to identify how the use of a game produced by six
undergraduate medical students, which was inspired by the children's game called “burned”, could contribute to teaching and learning about the main fleas and diseases due to they transmitted. This
practice, which was experienced in a sports court, provided a more fun and enjoyable learning for
the active construction of knowledge.
