INNOVATIONS PRODUCED IN NORTH REGION: A MAPPING OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY THROUGH THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY (INPI)
Abstract
Encouraging innovation, provided a significant advance in Brazilian universities in scientific and technological development. Therefore, this study aimed to perform the mapping of some universities of the seven states that make up the North, based on the database of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), trying to describe the situation of intellectual property in the North of Brazil. The mapping was carried out in the online database on the database of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) of Brazil, using Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins in the "depositor". The state of Pará showed the highest number of academics deposits. The section with greater application was A and the subclass where they were made more requests for deposits was A61K.
