EXPLORATION SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL ON PESTICIDES DETECTION METHODS IN WATER SAMPLES
Abstract
The intensive use of pesticides in agriculture may result significant contamination in various environmental compartments such as air, soil, sediment and water, with serious ecological problems and public health. Thereby, techniques for detecting pesticides in water, more sensitive and selective, have been developed in order to meet the pressing demand for monitoring of residues in samples of surface water and human consumption. This study is to give an overview on patents, articles, theses and dissertations, that use the theme methods of detection of pesticides in water. It was observed that the United States is the country that has the largest number of patents on the research topic. Theses and dissertations addressed with greater frequency methodologies for detection of pesticides in foods by using chromatographic techniques.
