DYNAMIC SUPPLY CHAIN ALIGNMENT OF ONE MANUFACTURER OF AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
Abstract
The high competitiveness in the automotive segment, especially in the auto parts industry, has required constant improvement of business, not only in relation to its products, but especially in relation to their management models. In this sense, the Dynamic Supply Chain Alignment of one Company of Automotive Industry gained prominence in recent decades as a differential in terms of competitiveness. The study aimed to identify the position of a company in the automotive industry, auto parts manufacturer, in the Mountain Range of Rio Grande do Sul region on the four strategic elements of the dynamic alignment model proposed by John Gattorna also looking to contribute to complement the theory still little explored on the subject. The research was developed through the single case study and quantitative research, using a structured questionnaire, applied to the management of the Supply Chain of the company. The study results identified the Integration Profile, explained the strategic elements, Market and Business Strategy, and the Producer Profile for elements Organizational Culture and Leadership Style. The practice contribution of the study is in the direction of the results, such as the comparison of the positioning of the studied company with others in the industry and can serve as a parameter for the automotive industry.
