DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTROMAGNETIC DEVICE FOR PREVENTING THE PROCESS OF SCALE IN OIL DUCTS
Abstract
The formation of the minerals scales is one the most commons in petroleum industry around the world
that, despite the great evolution technologic in engineering, this problem remains without effective
solution. The aim of this work was to investigate a methodological procedure that characterizes the
compositions of minerals scales that occur in wells from oilfields, assuming that the proper
identification of these minerals scales is decisive for proper use of available technology resources in
support of the petroleum industry. For both, we did the characterization of produced water: pH,
composition and concentration of ions by ion exchange chromatography and dynamic viscosity, as
objects analysis future of the action of the magnetic field in the evolution of the scale in oil field. And
we studied the possibility of photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants that may influence the
scale processes.
