Creativity and Innovation in the Tourism Sector: A Systematic Literature Review
Abstract
The objective of this study was to carry out a systematic review of academic-scientific production
on creativity and innovation for the development of tourism. For this, a Systematic Review of
Literatua (RSL) was carried out using the keywords creativity, innovation, development and
tourism in the Science Direct and Scielo databases. With the study it was possible to conclude that
collaboration, management support and encouragement, creative performance of employees,
information technology, financing, competition in the market, the size of the company and the work
environment are predominant factors in the development of creativity and innovation in the tourism
sector. The study also highlighted that the efforts of companies in the sector in innovation activity
contribute to the evolution of the tourism industry, making it possible to identify that the main
innovation initiatives for tourism involve the product / services sector.
