COSTS OF A COMPANY SANITIZING OF RIO GRANDE DO SUL DUE PROCESS TO BOTTLING OUT OF STANDARD
Abstract
Decrease costs arouses the interest of all managers of leveraging operations and results. For
attaining the desired levels of competitiveness and profitability, decreasing costs of all sectors
within the business are essential. Against this context, the present study aims to survey goal and
prospecting costs of a production line fabric clothes softeners because the filling process to be nonstandard
product waste resulting from excess bottled as well as fines for lack of product within
packaging. To do this it was necessary to monitor the filling process taking samples from production line to determine whether the volume was packaged according to the nominal volume of
the bottle. So from the price per Liter softener was possible to determine in monetary units (R$) the
cost of the company because of this flawed process. Data were collected at a company located in
the Central Region of Rio Grande do Sul from July to October 2012, and had a cost of R$
12.158,00 concerning the waste product those four months.
