Abstract
The research addresses the teacher training for the use of new communication technologies in its relation with the teaching-learning process. The objective was to investigate the initial and continued training of tutors, their practices and experiences concerning the use of educational technologies of communication. For the development of the work, was a qualitative research proposal, with exploratory and descriptive goals through a field study, conducted in a school in the municipal network of Ilhéus. To do this, as methodological resource use data collection techniques: systematic observation and semi-structured interviews with schoolteachers and administrators. The results showed us many challenges so that these practices materialize. At school, were found the following technologies of communication: television, computer, notebook, digital camera, show date and sound. In addition, although the school investigated have some technological resources available, there is still a bureaucracy to use such apparatus. Therefore, it was concluded that the access and not undermine the tools of communication technology on the part of teachers and students are direct causes of a wider problem (associated with deficiencies in the training of users of these technologies) and which compromises the efficiency of the teaching-learning process: the problem of digital exclusion.
